Kasey’s
Corolla needed a number of jobs done after his engine transplant there was no room
for booster or master cylinder on the fire wall. KRC fabricated an entire pedal
box hiding the booster and master cylinders under the dash we also fitted an
electric assist steering column, and modified the original steering box to mate
up to this. Four wheel discs were added with Willwood four pot callipers all
round.
Completely
out there!!!!!
Single
turbo on big block Chevy T Bucket. This had us scratching our heads for a bit,
the customer had a very specific look in mind that we had to work around.
Finding room for a large intercooler as well as waste gate and blow valve, this
required the use of a remote water pump and EXTENSIVE modifications to the
customer’s existing headers.KRC have wired in a G4 link as well as re-wiring the
rest of the car. We are all keen to see how well it goes. Believe it or not
this is going to be a daily driver. No chance of losing it in a car park, just
look for a crowd of people standing around it!
Vincent
fitting a waste gate as well as a variable boost control and boost gauge.
KRC make one off turbo manifolds for any custom application. We also sell all turbo related components such as intercoolers, intercooler piping, silicon hose and joiners, wastegates, timers and gauges. KRC can accomodate all your import modifications and upgrades.
Falcon Big
Brake Conversion. The stub axle does not lend itself to fitting a larger disc
due to the design of the calliper mount. We have achieved this here. Hat off
set was another issue as none are commercially available, so we made custom
billet hats to suit. The whole kit worked a treat.
TVR chassis
came in as accident damaged from Japan we had to reconstruct the front of the
chassis. We also had to make new top and bottom front suspension arms as we
weren’t allowed to use OEM replacements due to their poor design. All done, all
good!
Owner Shane
brought in a brand new jet sprint hull. We have performed a complete fit out on
the boat, Which includes chrome molly roll cage, motor engine plates, seat
mounts, custom fuel tank to prevent surge and mounting off the jet unit itself.
The boat has turned out to be one off the nicest looking units in the
competition. Shane has commented that the handling is absolutely fantastic.
Look out for it in the world championship 2012.
Super snake
arrived to have super charger intercooler kit fitted, along with billet reservoir
bottles. This is a factory kit that was supposed to be “bolt on” but we had to
make some modifications to get everything in its right place. This kit has complemented
an already cool looking machine.
Chris and
Craig’s body’s getting shipped to Auckland. They have both bought complete kits
but are keen to have the experience of assembling them themselves. They started their builds at the same time by purchasing unassembled rolling chassis's and then purchasing parts as and when required. We had one the cars back to custom fit their headers, the car looked great so far and we'll all be keen on seeing the finished product.
